Our Summer Wedding
May 15, 2016, Sunday. I am not really sure if I can describe our wedding in words. In fact, those typical and overused adjectives apparently very much do apply. But certainly, it was the best day of our lives. I can’t thank God enough for bringing Romeo into my life. The one that He chose for me to cherish and fall in love with each and every single day.
Weeks, days and hours leading up to the wedding was a bag mixed of emotions: stress, anxiousness, excitement, laughs and I am just so grateful for those who pulled in to help – be it with the flowers, the decors, printing invitations, and name cards and signboards, standing on ladders tying things up so the wind didn’t blow anything away ‘coz it was kinda windy on the reception setting up on the morning of the wedding.
It meant so much to us that our favorite people were involved, adding their own special touches, and that our wedding was such a team effort. During the planning process, I kept wondering why we were even going through with the whole thing, but yeah, I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Definitely, something you’ve gotta experience.
Though it was quite far from my expectation, those aren’t the things I’ll choose to remember but rather of how beautiful everyone looked and all the love that filled our day, and joy and laughter and tears. And I thank God for all of it! Love is all that matters.

One thing that I have realized during the wedding: Don’t stress yourself to much with the small stuff, and choose to savour every single moment. it goes by so quickly. people tell you that, but you won’t realize until you’re truly in it.
